(original post) Every coaching staff in college and the pros do this ….a hc is going to surround himself by people he trusts show more It’s ok to admit Belichick has made poor decisions in the staff department. Everyone knew Lombardi was an unqualified fraud and we made him the highest paid GM in the entire country. Lombardi’s nepo son also lead the worst QB room I’ve ever seen in my life. And while I don’t want to blame him too much for this one, there is some responsibility when your son and DC undermines the program over allegations of giving drugs to players. Bill has set the program back a bit with some of these head scratching decisions, but is hopefully righting the ship by bringing actual qualified people into the building (Petrino, new GM, etc).
