Rank the opposing QBs Texas faces this year
Summary
QB: Good list - after 6 they all have major flaws so hard to rank them well.
Good list - after 6 they all have major flaws so hard to rank them well. Sayin's showed a good arm, and ability to throw with anticipation, but inability to read defenses or progressions throwing and struggles w/pressure more than you'd want. Chambliss is another clear data point that Lane Kiffin knows QBs. He's an NFL guy, not elite elite without the right playcaller. I still need more data on super mario before I put him so high - not sure if it's the lack of film on him paired with the system or if his performances have staying power - I'd move him down to 6 for another few games. Brad Jackson goes above Austin Simmons. College QB, not NFL but the quick release, accuracy, mobility and quick thinking (decision speed) make up for his athletic limitations. Same goes for Leavitt - but better. Poor man's JFF. Not as rare with the mobility or feel but he's a clear #2 behind chambliss. Also for fun - I'd have arch at the top, despite still having some work to do. He has a skill that gets mistaken for being clutch, and while he may be - the rare trait he has is the ability to settle in-game and adjust to conditions in real time vs folding.
