I don't know what was said between the two prior to being on camera for those few seconds or what had occurred at halftime during those interviews, but I didn't think Sark came off looking very good. He knows there is going to be an interview in that situation and probably should have taken the time to at least answer a question or two, then excused himself. Especially when his QB does an interview after that and answers several questions. I'm sure most all of the "veteran" sideline reporters are pretty ruthless. About the last thing most coaches and players want to do is stop for those interviews, so you probably have to be forceful not to get blown off.
