Matador Report: Texas Tech Needs Will Hammond to Stop Playing It Safe
Summary
QB/LB: I have wondered if Hammond has a bit of a risk averse personality.
I have wondered if Hammond has a bit of a risk averse personality. We know he is a worker, a leader, a study guy. We haven’t seen enough to know if he is more of a gunslinger like BJ or a check down QB. If you believe Joey, who has been known to speak in hyperbole and endlessly mentioning positive things, the coaches want him to let it fly and maybe he isn’t doing that.
