It used to be that we weren't a second half team intially where both the defense and offense would slump after half time and we'd let teams catch up or beat us, then we had issues with the secondary which were somewhat fixed, then most recently we had a LG and penalty issue. We're not ever going to be a perfect team and each year with new personelle and coaching changes our weaknesses will change. Nobody was after Flood until last years woes so there's definetly some recency bias that's affecting a lot of people's judgment on Flood.
