Give Berlowitz some grace
Summary
QB: I understand the frustration up to now with the qb situation.
I understand the frustration up to now with the qb situation. I haven’t watched a single practice snap so I defer and have waited to chime in. I don’t know blaize but if he’s not a bad guy, then he doesn’t deserve the hate. As a college professor and vandy grad I completely understood Clark’s decision to ease in a new freshman. He might be super talented, but you have to let him adjust. The smartest kids can struggle with the adjustment..or they might want to party (also understandable). I always thought the point was to ease Jared in to let him get adjusted and not get overwhelmed with cadence, crowd, etc. he is still 18 or 19. If the most talented player wasn’t playing when the real competition showed up, I’d understand all the fuss. Now, I totally get the general (if not the specific of bringing Jared in on 2 minute) plan for the team to succeed going forward. This isn’t a trust the coaches no matter take. It’s something I’ve learned from being around college freshman and upper class for a while. The boys saw the practices, but they are 2 and 0 and I completely understand Clark.
