I can understand wanting Plazz to be good, but I don't really see how it can be that far fetched for a true freshman to beat out someone with mainly backup snaps in their first 2 years of playing.
Zierer can be a welcome surprise without Plazz necessarily being a bust. Greater than 0% chance both are starting OL heading into 2027 season.
Strand has played many more snaps than both if that matters based on opponent or situation, but he definitely won't have a long leash if he does play/start again.
I'm encouraged by the staff giving Zierer a shot and not just going off how everyone appeared in spring or how much they are being paid.
