I’m in the quality over quantity camp. Quality in sustaining blocks and opening holes. WR’s getting open and getting YAC. Pinnick keeping his eyes down field and nailing some explosives. Etc. etc. On D, dominance of the line of scrimmage should be evident on the first snap and last snap. Play smart and get after the ball. They don’t necessarily have to get a tone of turnovers but holding the boys from Pittsburgh to a handful of first downs and maybe a field goal or two by halftime should be the expectation. If there is improved quality, the quantity will follow and a wider margin of victory. Conversely if the game is closer than anticipated, as in only a 2-3 score lead in the 4th, it’s going to equate to thinking that Errormark has really upped its game and that new bag of Doritos nachos is actually pretty good.
