Freshman Luke is now the clear starter at the LDE position. Junior Jide Abasire is the clear starter at DT/3 Tech and is a team leader on the defensive line. Junior Kameryn Crawford has been the starter at the RDE/Edge since 2025. First It would appear that the decisions on the three Seniors would need to be made as to their returning for 2027. Second the two currently starting Juniors would appear to be returning for 2027. So unless these players get injured or beat out for their position, the DL will look pretty much the same next year. After that the 2nd and 3rd team NT and DT of Floyd Bouchard, Tomohini Topiui, Jaimeon Winfield and Jamaal Jarrett need to show what they can do with their opportunities to play early this season. I have left out Jahkeem Stewart due to his long term injury. Lastly the current back up end positions beyond Zuriah Fisher and Braylon Shelby need to be resolved. While Simone Katanga and Jayden Ramos are third string, they have been playing and getting good experience.
