GenesPage 247Sports Week 3 predictions
Summary
Pick/market: Only two games have been played by Southeastern Conference teams thus far, but there is already a shake-up atop the GenesPage 247Sports predictions' poll.

Uncle David Murray, who turned in a scintillating 15-1 mark in Week 1 followed that with another second-place finish in Week 2 and has grabbed the overall lead and enjoys a four-game spread. Three-time winner Nate Purvis rebounded from a tough first week to take the crown this past week, vaulting him into a fourth-place tie. He is six games off the pace set by Murray.
The spreads tighten overall this week as the competition likewise tightens. The most-contested game is a pick-em on the Plains of Auburn. The Gators on the road for the first time; Auburn owns a neutral site victory in Week 1. LSU at Ole Miss is nearly the same and will grab the national attention as Lane Change comes back to Oxford. How much will emotion, on both sides of the field, play into the game's outcome? And Mississippi State's game at South Carolina is considered a touchdown difference, although that spread has dropped decidedly during the week. It looks as if one picker learned his lesson. Vandy plays host to North Carolina State in a nonconference game in Nashville that is rated less than a TD. The Wolfpack is still working on its identity; the Commodores have yet to cover in two wins over inferior competition.
All of our pickers expect Tennessee to handle their business with Kennesaw State and cover the point spread assigned to that game. As a result, that one will not appear on our table. The same can be said of the NC State game with Vandy. Everyone took the Wolfpack.
