Looking at the scoreboard from last week, I went 12-4 in my predictions. My downfalls included Ohio State and their fourth quarter woes against Texas. Duke knocking off Illinois. Michigan rising to the occasion against the Sooners and Oregon not corralling the Cowboys in Stillwater.  Season record: 29-5. Not bad.  Week 3 of college football is here. The Big Ten slate is kind of "meh" this weekend. Hey, still some tuneup games to be played before it's time for full blown conference play. Let's make some picks.  Portland State @ Oregon: Dante Moore doesn't tip his pitches. Ducks big.  Akron @ Minnesota: SEC > MAC. Gophers recover.  Buffalo @ Penn State: Lions roar.  Kent State @ Ohio State: A get-right game for the Buckeyes.  Eastern Michigan @ Wisconsin: Badgers keep it rollin.  Southern Illinois @ Illinois: Illini with the easy in-state victory.  UTEP @ Michigan: Wolverines easy.  USC @ Rutgers: Trojans big.  Northern Iowa @ Iowa: Hawkeyes.  Western Kentucky @ Indiana: Hoosier in a landslide.  Eastern Washington @ Washington: Huskies in a close one.  North Dakota @ Nebraska: Huskers romp.  Michigan State @ Notre Dame: Irish by three touchdowns.  Virginia Tech @ Maryland: Terps get it done.  Colorado @ Northwestern: Going with the Prime Time Buffs.  Purdue @ UCLA: Boilers pull this one out in a thriller.
