Are we serious?? show more To be fair this football season has had some unprecedented heat, even in places where they think they "deal with real heat" unlike mild-ol'- Louisville. Games have been called early. Games skipped OT and claimed a tie. Crowds in SEC stadiums completely gone (South Carolina). 100s of heat exhaustion cases and an overwhelmed EMT/ambulance system at a single game (Texas). This isn't just a hot day in louisville. 160 degree on field temperatures and 105 degree heat indexes kill people. And, I'll be there tomorrow with my octagenarian stepfather.
