A thought on Darius Gray

Beamer was asked on his call-in show Thursday about what the plan was for Darius Gray, once Peak was back in there. Beamer avoided the question but said that the staff had already been talking about it a couple of weeks ago and that it was a good problem to have.
Certainly it helps that Gray could go play guard, center or right tackle, in addition to what he's done at left tackle.
But given how important continuity is on the OL, I wouldn't be surprised if they eased Peak back into the mix gradually.
Even now that he's cleared, I'm not sure it's realistic for Peak to go play 75 snaps right off the bat. I think I'd take a rotational approach at left tackle at first (rather than also forcing Gray to rep at a bunch of different positions in practice leading up to a big game) and then once Peak is ready to go play all game at 100 percent, then you make the big move to get Gray wherever he needs to be.
