Toney played 47 snaps and caught all 12 targets with one touchdown against Wake Forest. Miami's preliminary PFF review puts him wide on 36.7% of his snaps, with a 4.8-yard average target depth and 5.4 yards after catch per reception. Three intermediate catches produced 57 yards and a touchdown.

Fletcher ran for 85 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries against Wake Forest. Miami's preliminary PFF review credits him with 4.69 yards after contact per carry, six forced missed tackles and three runs longer than ten yards. It also charges him with one pressure allowed in pass protection.

Buchanan and McCoy each played 70 snaps on Miami's offensive line against Wake Forest, a career high for Buchanan. PFF credited Buchanan with no pressures or sacks allowed and McCoy with one pressure allowed. McCoy's 69.7 run-blocking grade led the five starting linemen; these grades remain subject to film-review changes.

Miami's PFF review credits Blount with nine pressures on 61 snaps and nickel Thornton with eight on 67. Thornton nevertheless allowed 4/5 targets for 50 yards and two TDs and missed three tackles. Fitzgerald allowed 1/3 targets for zero yards with no missed tackles; O'Connor allowed 4/6 for 36 yards and made the late interception. The grades are preliminary.
