Oh settle down Gio was the most hated and bashed man in CH for a year. He crossed the line getting paid by ESPN for a hit piece x2 I’ve never seen a qb do that on the way out. Anything to get clicks and money off Belichick name, I’m still not a fan of what he did and 99% of people bashed him for that. I’m a Tar Heel first and that doesn’t sit well with me that a former, active player for a rival is disrespecting us only to walk it back when the mic and camera was in his face. He should have said it on camera when Belichick and his teammates were there at acc media day ….You do you though and accept former players bashing “your team.” You never said a bad thing about him or any player? Despite this distaste for what he did as a paid 900K semi pro on the way out , I come in here CONSCIOUSLY to publicly give the guy flowers like a man instead of hiding, and you’re turning it into a “gotcha” moment like I didn’t know what I was doing . Good on you. If Gio is my biggest walk back I’m ok with my track record. But I will work on my morality to strive to be like you and never bash a paid professional again, especially one that bad mouths my team play for a rival.
