He's more athletic running than he shows. I'm not advocating for him to become Josh Allen, but if he were to occasionally step up into a collapsing pocket and take off into a vacated middle those 5-6 yds could sure help keep us out of 3rd long. Our offense cannot really afford 0yds plays. There are also times when he avoids a rusher and rolls out and eventually tosses it away. If the completion is not there, why not channel a little Purdy and scoot along the sideline for some positive yards?
