I respect your opinions but I think you have this one backwards. There isn't any access of anything for Self to grant. The football board breeds discussion largely because there is much more to discuss both in-game and program wise. Access grants one knowledge of development of players behind the scenes and and inkling as to what the staff is doing strategically, both schematically and in terms of resource allocation, offensive and defensive systems/etc. The most compelling news available if someone had access to Self is his heart health. Beyond that it's spend money on some guys and then play 7 or 8 of them. Roll ball down floor. Execute a weave for 12 seconds and then jack a three, drive and throw a lob or turn it over. All Self is going to say is the guys are playing soft or the guys are playing tough; we didn't hit shots tonight/the other team hit shots tonight, etc. It's been the same thing for 20 years and ther isn't any breaking news other than commitments, which are public pretty quickly on twitter and everywhere else pretty quickly after being rumored.
