Great Teams = Greater Margins for Error
Summary
RB/OL/WR experience gains offset QB downgrade; still expects Big 12 title and playoff spot.
I think the assumption here is that the offense as a whole will be better even if the QB is not Soursby. RB room gained a ton of experience and depth, same with OL and receivers should be at least as good as they were, if not better. If the OL can protect and run block and the WR and RB are as good or better than last year, an average QB who limits mistakes but also doesn't necessarily make big plays will be more than good enough to replicate last season and potentially surpass it depending on the playoff draw. Obviously we were aiming higher than that, but when youre elite starting QB is no longer an option expectations have to be adjusted. I'm still expecting a Big 12 title and that should come with a playoff spot.
