IIRC, and I’m pretty sure I do, we started off Ross’s third season 0-3. I don’t recall if it was the first practice after that third loss or not but prior to the practice in question Bobby Ross got up on a chair in front of all the players and said WTTE that anyone who wasn’t completely bought in and willing to do the work and play hard and do their jobs shouldn’t bother taking to the practice field and only guys who WERE 100% IN should come to practice. The result was that we went 7-1 the rest of that season. I know he also began playing younger, more talented guys a bit more. Let’s hope halftime of the Mercer game was a similar moment for Brent and this team.
