In LSU's Ole Miss loss, transfer receivers other than Winston Watkins Jr. combined for seven catches and 38 yards. The writer links their difficulty separating to Sam Leavitt's limited downfield options and frequent escapes from pressure. This is the article's receiving assessment, not an announced change in the starting group.

The LSU transfer review says Ole Miss frequently double-teamed Princewill Umanmielen or chipped him with running backs. He still recorded four tackles and a sack, but the writer also faults his run-edge setting and containment of Chambliss. These are game-specific protection and edge-execution observations, not a new LSU front.

LSU safety Ty Benefield had five tackles and a sack against Ole Miss, plus a quarterback hurry credited with helping force Chambliss' interception. The writer balances that disruption against coverage losses and missed tackles in key moments. The assessment does not establish a changed safety role or future snap allocation.
