The 2 blocked kicks were very low; yesterday, the center bounced the ball back to the holder, who did a pretty good job of recovering, but the timing was off. I think that was the issue. Needs correcting. I love our special teams coach and he will get the mechanics corrected. He can't coach the kickers though, as they have their own private coaches. He can only coach "strategy" kicks, like pooch kicks. The kick return game is so much better; we have some dynamic players catching and running. We have already had excellent kickoff returns this year that we didn't have last year. When you have a guy (fastest on the team), who can run something back from 5 yds deep in the end zone and run it back all the way, then a 45 yarder yesterday, that's a threat. And he doesn't run scared.
