On a personal Invite from the WolfPack Club, I personally met Dave Doeren when he was hired at the Parks Alumni Center, and unfortunately he came across with little emotion, a beginning of a list of promises and his social graces were absent (in short, I walked away unimpressed even then). Fast forward to yesterday and a review of his record (someone posted a week ago) is a LOT of excuses on loses, often pointed at someone else's failures and only twice (that I can remember) when he accepted responsibility for a loss or the functional quality of the football program he is in charge of. I have been unsatisfied with his performance as a head coach for several years now, but this years Virginia Game was an unacceptable performance and when now overplayed with yesterdays TOTAL Lack of end of game coaching, there is NO REMAINING REASON for Dave Doeren to continue to be allowed to be the Head Coach of NC State Football any longer. In short, his list of historical excused has now been totally burned up, his poor W/L record against P4 programs has been unacceptable, when adding his W/L record against top-25 programs exacerbated the loss of support from WolfPack Nation. It is obvious to those who watched this game closely or in person his unacceptable moment of opportunity to directly coach-up Baily to the point of telling this young man with limited experience in these ultra critical situations to run the clock after the snap and walk out the back of the end zone with ZERO time on the clock for the win, and that should have been the MOST EMPHATIC STATEMENT TO BAILY that a QB has EVER heard. It didn't happen as EVERYONE across the NATION has now seen on ESPN and many other TV Stations & Networks over the last 24+ hours. Unfortunately for WolfPack Nation, the replay of those last 6-seconds will LIVE on in infamy for YEARS TO COME, because of POOR Coaching, or more directly a TOTAL LACK OF COACHING. Dave Doeren Lost the Game, he has now TOTALLY Lost the WolfPack Fan base, and he has now LOST the Locker room and the Trust that goes with being the head coach. The tought of a "Rescued" season will NEVER be sufficient to overcome his historical underwhelming performance. There may be persons who want to blame Baily for fumbling the ball, and that is fair. but there is NO support from me and nearly an entire Wolfpack Nation of fans who don't think and believe Dave Doeren is ultimately responsible and now has NO Place at the WolfPack Nation Fan Base table of support. If you think otherwise, you are entitled to your excuses on Dave Doeren's behalf, but you WILL NOT get that from me. Good Bye to Dave Doeren, as SOON has he can pack his bags !!!!!!!!
