The game will be competitive and our defense gives us a good chance to keep it close, but I've felt all along that this was a transition season with a true ;freshman QB and a lot of youth, and that next season was when we would really begin to make hay. The lack of quality depth and high level talent across the board, especially on the OL and secondary, will begin to show up against the highly ranked teams on the schedule especially, and Texas is loaded on both sides. We will get better and deeper over the next 2-3 seasons. I don't make predictions, but I can't imagine the game won't be close with a fired up, loud Neyland, Manning's inconsistency, and Texas' proclivity for laying eggs on the road, and wouldn't be shocked if we came out of it with a win. If Faizon can continue to be turnover-free and can stretch the field here and there, and we can generate a run game, this is going to be a late fourth quarter game.
