If you are concerned about the NET of the American teams, just look at which conference lost nearly all their best returning players to the portal............THE AMERICAN .......... If each team had kept their best returning players (except TU who had almost none) then the American would have had a much better OOC record. Just look at the All-Conference players lists for all the smaller leagues last year. 90% of those players eligible to return left for a P5. No good answer for small schools......... Even TU took a first team all-conference player out of the Summit Conference......
