By the way, for those of you who continue to buy the myth that we have money trees out back, the Athletic had us ranked 11th in the ACC spending approximately 21-23MM......Even if that number is higher, that isn't good long term and puts us where we are now - without studs on the defensive line, defensive backfield, and receiver....... This offseason, we need to be ready to buy a stud QB in the portal as well as defensive studs all over the place. Throw in receiver and offensive line upgrades, too..... 35 to 38MM minimum, I would think????? I really fear this is beyond the appetite of our donors unless Armstrong and Company say f$ck it, let's do it...........Bargain shopping isn't going to get us where we need to be....... Last thing, pray our Coach does do some serious reflecting this off season and decides he has to have a great defense (more dollars invested) coached by a great defensive staff to offset his hinky play calling...............
