The Aftermath
Summary
QB/RB: Brown reminds me of of the RB 10 years ago or so Gardner with his size and running style.
Stuhall said... (original post) Temple could have the best rushing attack in the country by the end of the season. Or at least one of the top. They’re gonna be really hard to stop... show more Brown reminds me of of the RB 10 years ago or so Gardner with his size and running style. They have a nice rotation of backs that all run hard. The thing that drives me crazy (Its not just Temple) is I hate seeing the offensive tackles in a two point stanced fanned out. I'm old school line play...everyone on the line in a three point stance firing out, head up, back flat, wide base, chopping the feet after contact. The running attack will be better with the running qb (in general) because the ends cant crash down on the handoff...you can even leave them unblocked because they have to set the edge if the qb pulls it and attacks the edge. Looks like Sheppard can pass it as well. That flag route he throw late in the game against PSU was perfect. PSU didnt let anything get behind them all game or I should say WR open. Thats one pass you cant defend if thrown correctly over the shoulder to the side line..
