The other oddity is why in the world did the NCSU coach or quarterback think they should be running around in the end zone. Fumbling in the end zone is literally the only bad thing that could've happened to them. Why didn't they either take a knee in the end zone or punt? Taking a knee does not involve running around. we were lucky to have those two timeouts to use in the final minute and 4 seconds that NCSU had the ball. Our defense keeping them from getting a first down made a difference as well and it really came down to a miracle forced fumble. I knew a fumble miracle was what it would take when I turned it off to drive to something that I was about to be late to but I didn't realize we were close to getting the ball back due to two timeouts we had making it hard for the game to just run out with the play clock. We need to improve before the next game.
