Yeah - I’d think - that’s a combo of fickell demanding complimentary sound offense (as he’s said a thousand times) which doesn’t often feature scrambling chucking QBs and the balance of getting Colton better as a passer and overall QB takes time. Conundrum to balance him working on that with obviously maximizing what his current skill set features.
Yeah I saw Dupree as a really twitchy well balanced, great hands RB. True weapon if you feature that in the pass game but we’ve barely even remotely done that. I don’t think he has great vision for a RB and until that TD run where he made a phenomenal cut and go into another jump cut where Blackmon was driving a LB into the end zone for him (best run block of the year) - I hadn’t seen him make many runs that any decent college RB wouldn’t have found or good ones turned into better.
Honestly this year neither he nor Sama has had enough opportunities (every play is blocked differently and vary) to outright declare anything but with the money they spent on Sama you’d hope he’d be an above average RB…
