Haven’t read his review. He would be kind of backtracking if he said he doesn’t think they are trying to establish a culture of toughness. I did read his thoughts, and I appreciate Cole’s thoughts on thinking we need to stick with the run a bit more and not go as fast to help the defense. But that slowing the offense down worked wonders for Gus and Freeze. I do think that the RB’s do need to be more involved. I don’t think running it just to say you ran it a bunch doesn’t mean much if you can’t get any yards. Also, running the ball when you are down 14-17 points doesn’t make sense. Score points. Don’t care how you do it.
