Especially before th... show more I was gonna make a thread on my observations from my attending my first home game this season, but there's like 5 of those already dating back 2 weeks ago, so I'll add my two cents here: You're right- sound system sounds so much better and clearer. The light show, although we're late to that party, was great-- you can tell both these add a little bit of something for the fans/families that aren't the biggest football enthusiasts, but want to have a good time, and those things gave them just that. The stadium doesn't have enough LED banners around it to truly have that "electric feel" with the lights.. but one step at a time. It was still great. And yes.. the field has been faded/ugly green now for a few years. It doesn't look good on TV. I hate it, but idk how big of a priority that is right now. Random single player observation- Cam Chapa may not be able to be great at one-on-one coverage with deep balls- but he gets after it and has a nose for the ball that is rare on this team. Good tackling, good angles to the ball, and heard his name quite a bit last night.
