Here’s the hard truth: Auburn will be battling Vanderbilt next week for 14th place in the SEC. Thank goodness Arkansas is a dumpster fire, or Auburn would be with Vandy as the worst teams in the SEC. I’m tired of hearing these excuses as well. UF is not that good of a football team. They are probably the 7th or 8th best team in the SEC. In this day of NIL, there’s no reason for coaches not to have immediate success. I mean, freaking UK won at Texas A&M and their coach is in his first year. To make matters worse, Auburn has one of the higher end rosters in the SEC and still nothing has changed. So no, I don’t buy the give Golesh some time. He literally almost brought his entire offense from USF, including a 5th year senior QB, yet they look like they’ve never played football with each other. And let’s not even talk about the defense. I see only 3 possibly wins left: Vandy, Arkansas and Samford. As for the other games, there’s no way we keep it even competitive, and that’s the sad part. We will be going on to 6 straight losing seasons now. I’m just apathetic about it at this point. I honestly don’t even care what Golesh has to say, it’s all talk and no results.
