Gunner has played efficient and made the plays that have been there to make…but I’m still worried about his limitations in the passing game. He is incapable of throwing with anticipation. He *HAS* to see the receiver be clean open before he decides to pull the trigger. And it’s just *really hard* to play QB at a high level playing like that. The long TD to Dandridge this week and the goal line TD to Taylor last week…both should have been thrown much sooner. Against better competition they are incomplete or picked. But that’s just who he is as a QB. He can’t throw with anticipation and he’s got a long wind up. He’s been in the system for 4 years and it’s not going to change. It’s incumbent on Bobo and the offensive staff to coach around those deficiencies.
