First of all, most games are on weekends, which means weekend rates. Day games usually aren't that big of an issue but Night Games can mean driving home really late. If only UVA could partner up with some local hotels and offer a package deal that combo two or more game tickets with a night's stay at a nearby hotel, for a reasonable/affordable price. $170 for two tickets, along with $100 or more for a night's hotel stay is simply too much. One would think that these local or simi-local hotels would rather charge less for a room than to leave half the hotel empty and make no money on those empty rooms. We're not picky about the size or even the quality of rooms. It's just that when our game ends late at night, we only need a place to lay down and sleep. Shouldn't have to pay $80 - $140 for 6-7 hours of sleep. Hell, we don't even need a room with a shower and/or Fridge and kitchen appliances... Only a bed(s) and possibly a television (to watch sports highlights of our Win. Lol 😆😎🧡💙🍿🇱🇷
