8/28 Arizona Football Notebook: Fall Camp comes to an end
- Arizona's depth chart is largely settled after fall camp, and the Wildcats used a mock week to assign scout-team roles and teach roughly 50 newcomers the program's game-week routine.
- Brent Brennan believes nine or ten wide receivers are ready to play, with four having separated at the top of the rotation.
- Gio Richardson and Isaiah Mizell are expected to take substantially larger receiving roles after both made major developmental jumps during camp.
- Jay'Vion Cole has made a significant fall-camp move after missing spring work while recovering from injury, and Malcolm Hartzog has impressed Brennan with his football IQ, toughness and playmaking.
- Kicker Michael Salgado-Medina has shown better consistency, ball striking, accuracy and confidence, leading Brennan to expect a meaningful step forward in 2026.
