- Baylor moved Koltin Sieracki to starting center after projected starter Yakari Walker was ruled ineligible, and Sieracki brings prior experience at both center and right guard. - Right tackle Kaden Sieracki is Baylor's only returning offensive-line starter, while Texas transfer Nate Kibble is positioned at left guard and Asher Hale is battling Toledo transfer Cole Rhett at right guard. - Indiana transfer Hosea Wheeler was cleared to play after producing 31 tackles, four tackles for loss, 11 quarterback pressures and two fumble recoveries for the 2025 national champions. - USF transfer Traevon Mitchell now adds depth rather than serving as insurance for Wheeler, joining Devonte Tezino and Jamaal Whyce in a defensive-line rotation where every job remains competitive.
