Georgia's tight ends open the season with a bang
- Georgia's tight ends were a major opener feature, with four tight ends catching passes, six drawing targets, and Jaden Reddell, Elyiss Williams, and Kaiden Prothro scoring touchdowns.
- Georgia's tight end room combined for 100 receiving yards against Tennessee State, showing a clear multi-player pass-catching role in the offense.
- Kirby Smart still wanted senior Lawson Luckie more involved after a good camp, noting Luckie's only catch was erased by penalty.
- Smart said Georgia's tight ends must learn to share production because the unit has several weapons and the staff plans to build around the room's collective output.
