- Top Actionable Intel - Georgia Tech's tight end room was identified as the offense's most improved position group and a potential 2026 X-factor under new OC George Godsey. - The hosts expect Godsey to feature tight ends more than Buster Faulkner did, especially after Godsey's NFL background working with high-end tight ends. - TE production was limited last year at roughly 36 catches, 546 yards, and 4 TDs combined, so even a moderate usage jump could materially change Georgia Tech's passing profile. - No official wager, spread pick, total, or released play was given.

- Top Betting/Intel Takeaways - Brent Key said Georgia Tech had a productive spring but still has a long way to go; he likes the team's chance to be good if depth and execution keep developing. - Key made clear the offense will be personnel-driven rather than built from a fixed playbook. The staff will keep what players can retain and execute on Saturdays. - Georgia Tech does not want to put the full offense on a new QB immediately; Key specifically talked about using the OL, tight ends, and running backs to reduce pressure early. - Offensive philosophy note: Key wants a completion-driven offense that takes checkdowns for 6-10 yards instead of forcing deep shots every series.

- QB: Mendoza being the only one talking to the media is a pretty good indication that he is the QB.

- Two TE sets used under CBF; typically blockers/safety valves, Boyd motioned across formation.

- Mendoza makes quick decisions and runs; Adamson capable backup QB; Roche catches traffic; D-line most improved; Haynes/Hosley nightmares for defenses; Mbakwe elite; Birr elite leg; Gatling excels filling WR injuries.

- Defense improved in spring game with DL creating havoc; McKenny out, Petty likely out for season with injury; expect defensive improvement in 2026.

- Pick/market: GT Lunch Bunch is pleased to present Tim Salem Football Special Teams Coordinator, at noon at Hudson Grill in Sandy Springs.

- Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech battling for OL Jacob Burns from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee.

- GT OL major concern—Petty out early/season, Mackenny in doubt, possibly zero returning starters; Wade replaces unhappy Key hire.

- OC Faulkner→Godsey; OL Wade→Mogridge; WR McKnight→Jafar Williams; RB McKenzie→Jimmy Smith; DC Gideon→Semore; S Peoples→Sunseri.
