- Ed has returned to LSU and is recovering, with Kiffin expecting him to be present for game week.
- LSU's portal-heavy offense is improving but remains behind because Sam Leavitt missed much of spring, leading Kiffin to expect stronger cohesion and performance as the season progresses.
- LSU will base skill-position rotations on the performance gap between players, using near-even workloads when options are comparable and concentrating touches when an elite hot hand emerges.
