Podcast: The Michigan State Spartans Insider Podcast: What WR Samson Gash Will Accomplish as a Freshman
- Michigan State's QB room is framed as settled at the top: Fitzgerald has already said Alessio Milivojevic will start Week 1 against Toledo.
- If Milivojevic is unavailable, the backup expectation in the snippet is Camp Bancher rather than a true open competition.
- Kate Kaufman is not expected to start this season and is more likely in a QB3 battle with Leo Hannan, with meaningful game reps probably still a ways off.
- On the line, Connor Moore was noted as playing right guard, and Nebraska transfer Kenneth Williams gives MSU a proven kickoff return option after second-team All-Big Ten return production last season.

- QB: I fully expect he'll be much better: better QB, better overall system, much higher motivation.
