Preview & Prediction: No. 5 Indiana vs. Northwestern
- Northwestern's Aidan Chiles has completed 31 of 46 passes for 514 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions through two 2026 games. The Indiana preview says the Wildcats have limited difficult reads with designed rollouts, dump-offs and one-read throws while leaning on the run. That describes observed offensive support, not a new quarterback assignment or a turnover guarantee.
- Northwestern running back Joseph Himon II has 115 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries, plus four catches for 61 yards and three receiving touchdowns through two 2026 games. The Indiana preview identifies him as part of both the ground and passing attacks. The small-volume production supports a dual-use role, not a new lead-back designation or a guaranteed touch count.
