Notre Dame football injury report vs. Wisconsin: WR Quincy Porter one of eight players ruled out
- Notre Dame ruled transfer receiver Quincy Porter out against Wisconsin with a left knee injury, and Marcus Freeman said Porter remained at least a couple of weeks from helping the team after a minor procedure.
- Linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is questionable for Wisconsin as he completes his recovery from a November ACL tear, while Ko'o Kia is out with a shoulder injury.
- Notre Dame will be without offensive linemen Matty Augustine, Charles Jagusah and Chris Terek, but Ashton Craig is expected to start at center after a 46-week ACL recovery and Peter Jones is off the injury report.
- Defensive linemen Christopher Burgess Jr. and Tiki Hola remain unavailable for Notre Dame's opener because of left tibia and right knee injuries, respectively.
