Same matchup, new centerpieces as Eget and Chriss-Gremillion takeover
- Tulane selected Houston transfer Zeon Chriss-Gremillion to preserve a dual-threat rushing element, but his career ratio of 17 passing touchdowns to 15 interceptions creates turnover risk when Duke forces him to throw.
- Tulane must replace four offensive-line starters and three of its four leading receivers, with experienced backup Kadin Semonza available if the passing game cannot create enough behind Chriss-Gremillion.
- Both Duke and Tulane bring strong running-back rooms but rebuilt lines and secondary combinations into the rematch, making pressure response and avoidance of negative plays central to the matchup.
