BIG 12 SQUAD - Brendan Sorsby may PLAY in 2026 | How this impacts UCF
- Top Betting/Intel Takeaways
- This is a Big 12 conference-context episode, not a UCF team-preview; there was no meaningful UCF roster, injury, depth-chart, or scheme intel beyond the title/feed wrapper.
- The main football story is Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby's eligibility fight after gambling while at Indiana, with the panel split on whether the NCAA will hold firm or the mental-health framing creates legal pressure.
- The panel said the NCAA has historically been strict on gambling, but Sorsby's injunction leans on mental health and fitting in at Indiana, which makes the case harder to dismiss publicly.
- One host expects Sorsby ultimately to lose eligibility and enter the NFL Supplemental Draft; another argued the Big 12 needs him to play because Texas Tech without him would weaken the conference perception test.
