- Virginia Tech TE Luke Reynolds has 25 catches for 265 yards and four TDs through three 2026 games, including 12 for 107 and one TD at Maryland after eight for 108 and two TDs versus Old Dominion. This is early production, not a weather-dependent target plan against Boston College. - Virginia Tech has 14 sacks in three 2026 games. Aycen Stevens has 3.5; Cortez Harris, Mylachi Williams and Kaleb Spencer have three apiece, per the preview. This is current pressure production, not a promise of extra rushers or sacks against Boston College. - Virginia Tech backs Jeffrey Overton Jr. (35 carries, 200 yards, three TDs; seven catches, 95 yards, one TD) and Marcellous Hawkins Jr. (40 carries, 187 yards, four TDs) have both produced through three 2026 games. Hawkins led the team with 75 rushing yards at Maryland; no future touch split is confirmed.

- WR/TE: The "starter" designation at WR is always interesting, because the scheme dictates some of that.

- Pick/market: Gusts are 30-50.

- TE: we are going to get a pitch out of it soon, or maybe a tight end wheel route or even a jet sweep.

- TE/LB: Nothing like a short passing game to our potential AA TE to loosen them up.

- TE: I suspect we’ll see more DQ Smith in his place going forward even though I don’t think that’s his best position.

- TE: I’ll never forget seeing him catch a fade TD during his first spring game.

- Pick/market: Virginia Tech's depth chart and rotation is an ever-changing puzzle to piece together.

- TE: Could be a mix between Antonio Gates and Tony Gonzalez, imho

- TE: After one P4 game he is immediately in the Jeff King and Bucky Hodges tier for best all time VT TE and looking like he could run away with that title if he stays...

- TE: Harold Fannon holds the NCAA record for TE single season receptions with 117.....which even for Luke I feel might be out of reach

- TE: Reynolds is the best tight end this program has ever seen…he’s a first rounder He’s top 10 bud
