Wolverine247 spring football takeaways, what we learned about Michigan's offense
- ### Top Actionable Intel
- This is a detailed Michigan offense spring review from Wolverine247. Biggest overall signal: the staff likes the roster's offensive talent more than last year, but Bryce Underwood's development still decides the ceiling.
- QB Bryce Underwood is not being handled with automatic-star treatment. The staff praises his work ethic and leadership, but publicly keeps stressing that he has to improve for Michigan to contend.
- QB Tommy Carr made a strong spring impression and looks like a potential steal from the 2026 class. He is not a threat to Underwood, but he may be good enough to matter in the QB2 conversation.
- RB Savion Hiter is one of the most-hyped freshmen on the roster and is expected to be an immediate-impact player even with Jordan Marshall back.

Spring Game Takeaways: Ohio State’s next star WR, grading Bryce Underwood, Darian Mensah shines! | Michigan podcast segment
- Top Team-Specific Takeaways
- This is just a Michigan defense that is going to be absolutely generational because earlier in the show we talked about Florida's 45 to 42 spring game.
- That defense is just that good.
- I Defensive line is a real strength.
- if they have a sick defensive line and if they can run the ball really effectively with a couple good backs, I could mean it's not going to change my opinion on whether Michigan can win eight nine games.
