Three winners on offense following Ohio State's fall camp
- Ian Moore emerged from fall camp as Ohio State's likely starting left tackle, with Austin Siereveld at right guard alongside four returning starters after the staff repeatedly found that combination to be its best fit.
- Legend Bey remains inexperienced at running back and served a brief practice suspension, but his explosive ball-carrying ability has made him difficult for the staff to keep off the field and could earn him an early role.
- UTSA transfer Devin McCuin has supplied the vertical speed and run-after-catch ability Ohio State sought after losing Carnell Tate, building on a three-year résumé of 152 catches, 1,696 yards and 16 touchdowns.

- RB: Isaiah West is fully healthy and has put on 12 pounds of muscle in what Ryan Day has described as a “tremendous offseason” for the second-year Ohio State running back.

Impressed So Far
- QB/OL: See, to me, the reason we lost was not the OL, but but because we had an inexperienced backfield.
