- DL/DB: This was supposed to the strength of the team.

- DB: My vote doesn’t count but I’d like to see Kite and Crawford at the corners and Braxton, Denson and, yes, Clardy at the safeties with Aguero first up at safety sub and Barney first...

- DB: Thank you for calling out the insanity being spewed by media about safety at the top of this.

- Pete Golding expects safety Sharif Denson to make his Ole Miss debut against LSU after missing two games. Denson reached about 95% of his normal GPS numbers in Wednesday practice and was absent from Thursday's injury report. Golding highlighted his system experience and tackling in space as help for a secondary struggling with communication and tackling. - Ole Miss upgraded linebacker Keaton Thomas, corner Cedrick Beavers and running back Makhi Frazier to probable. Offensive lineman Tommy Kinsler remains questionable; corner Victor Lincoln Jr. and lineman Emanuel Faulkner are out. Jay Crawford is also described as nursing an injury, without a formal designation supplied in this text. - The article projects Denson joining Joenel Aguero and Jaylon Braxton at safety, with Braxton moving from his early-season corner role; Antonio Kite and Edwin Joseph could handle corner. Kite practiced Wednesday after being limited Tuesday. Golding hopes the returning experience reduces others' snaps, but says LSU's tempo will still require a rotation. The alignment is projected, not a confirmed lineup.
