- UCF transfer Carter Miller brings 29 starts across 36 games and has a strong chance to win South Carolina's starting center job after earning a share of the program's spring toughness award. - Miller said South Carolina's offensive line made substantial gains in chemistry, communication and trust from the start of preseason camp through game week.

- Alabama lost defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman to a season-ending ACL injury; defensive back Jorden Edmonds is targeted for a midseason return, while EJ Crowell and receiver Noah Rogers are expected back sooner. Arkansas lost tight end Maddox Lassiter, defensive lineman J'Lynn Allen and punter Connor Smith for 2026, but RB1 Sutton Smith should be ready for the opener. - Auburn linebacker J.J. Faulk is out for the year, with tight end Jonathan Edwards, tackle Tai Buster and corner Devin Williams still uncertain. Florida reported no major camp loss; Georgia remains without Amaris Williams and likely Dante Dowdell, while center Drew Bobo should play. - OL/WR: OL performance...seeing is believing Offense...Do we get something close to what we're expecting overall or does Shane put the brakes on it Edge...depth Secondary...Which young guys start to contribute WR...Someone who turns into Mr...

- Game breakdown: I’ve spent a good bit of time going through the preseason stuff: what the coaches and players have said and the reports coming out of camp.

- Pick/market: Let that dude run the ball in goal line situations!

- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team was announced on Wednesday by the league office and a pair of Gamecocks were selected. - Junior EDGE Dylan Stewart was a first team selection on the defensive line and senior wide receiver Nyck Harbor was a third team pick at wide receiver.

- OL: If the basis for this offense is having the OL leave a defender unblocked, I really like our chances to get that right consistently.

- QB/OL: Just saying the poor guy went from the worst OL in college to the worst OL in the NFL.

- OL/LB: Year 11 of Talking Season Stories that THIS is the year our Line will finally be good again!

- OL: I want to see better pass protection by the OL, and a running game that's at least serviceable!

- OL/TE: I never understood why Brown couldn’t put in the work to be a starting tight end just lazy.

- QB/OL: For the first time in many, many years - I have not read one iota of hype regarding our football team.

- OL: The OL played a part in Sellers outcome as did the play calling.

- OL: If Peak is out for the first couple / few weeks, putting Sarratt at LT gives us our best shot at a serviceable O-line!

- OL/LB: I don't see Walker or Gray starting, assuming Stewart is starting for MSU and beyond it would be hard to unseat Herring and Addison especially when Herring is the lead guy right now.

- Pick/market: 5–1 at worst is a must.

- South Carolina has multiple position battles taking place both offensively and defensively as well as special teams heading into Matthew Smiley's first season in Columbia. - One of the key battles taking place on special teams comes at placekicker as William Joyce used his final year of eligibility last season and has to be replaced. - Heading into preseason camp, the Gamecocks will see Max Kelley, Upton Bellenfant and Malik... - Comment: Not really worried here.

- OL: All respect to Provence, he was a legend in his own right but he played a totally different game.

- OL: The scheme itself is going to help the line a ton.

- Pick/market: I only say that b/c last year's line was so very bad.

- QB/OL: If there were 2 staff positions holding this team back it was OL and OC.

- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Junior EDGE Dylan Stewart and senior wide receiver Nyck Harbor were both recognized on the 2026 Preseason Media All-SEC Team (voted on by media in attendance at SEC Media Days this week in Tampa) the league office announced on Friday. - Stewart was a First Team selection on the defensive line and Harbor was a Third Team pick at wide receiver.

- OL/DL: We've only had one period of time where OL and DE, DL were good and it made Whammy look like a genius.

- Pick/market: OL I agree but we have bodies, hopefully Clem can bring 1-2 more along in fall practice.
