We win with any other portal qb
- QB/OL: Our O-line looks bad because our QB doesn’t understand he has limited time and can’t scramble into his own self made pocket.

Everything Josh Heupel said after Tennessee’s 20-17 loss to Texas
- Tennessee allowed 10 sacks and gained 221 yards in its 20-17 loss to Texas. Josh Heupel attributed the protection failure to both the line, including pressure through chip help, and quarterback Faizon Brandon's eyes and delayed throws; he said Texas showed nothing so unusual that Tennessee should not have adjusted. This is a postgame diagnosis, not an announced lineup change.
- Heupel said Tennessee's medical staff checked Faizon Brandon after he left the Texas game in the first half and that Brandon returned feeling ready and able to throw normally. He also took more hits late. The coach supplied no diagnosis, future clearance or practice limit.
- Tennessee starting left guard Wendell Moe Jr. left the Texas game early. Asked for his status afterward, Heupel said he had no update on where Moe would be; the supplied presser provides no diagnosis, return timetable or confirmed replacement.
- Heupel said Tennessee's defensive front mostly bottled up Texas' run game and pressured its quarterback, though Texas found consecutive runs on a late fourth-quarter drive. He praised the game's line-of-scrimmage work without announcing a new front, pressure rate or personnel change.
