Morgan Scalley Weekly Press Conference: Iowa State
- Utah coach Morgan Scalley said Rabbit Evans looked back to his pre-injury quickness in the Utah State win, ahead of the 2026 Week 4 game at Iowa State. This is the coach's film assessment after an active game, not new medical clearance, a changed safety assignment or a promised workload.
- Scalley said Utah's tackling in space and third-down defense have been effective, but incorrect defensive alignment and assignments are still conceding plays. He identified those execution errors as a correction entering Iowa State week, without announcing a new front, coverage system or starting lineup.
